Oooooh.... the GenCon people almost, ALMOST had a very pissed Lisa on their hands... not a good thing to have. With the screwed-upness of the registration system some of the events I signed up for were duplicated in my cart so me being the kind and gentle soul that I am wanted to make sure that other people who wanted in their events could get in them. I send an e-mail to the gencon peoples saying I have some duplicates. They say to send them an e-mail telling them what needs to be done. I send an e-mail stating what was duplicated and how and what should remain in my registrations after all is said and done.
Next thing I know all my events are gone. I about dropped over right there at my desk. Luckily my hubby is a god and managed to schmooze the 22-year-old chippy in Seattle and chat with one of the techs who could search around and re-snag all the stuff that chippy dropped. Whew. Now I don't have to go through with all the evil little plans that danced around in my head for the 4-5 hours I thought I was eventless. Sigh. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts.
