(no subject)
Whoohoo! After a month of negotiations, I exchanged the money on Saturday morning to get my first car. After a few days of wrangling with the insurance company and Ministry of Transportation, I now have the ownership changed over. My baby is now registered, plated, stickered, and insured! I have my own car...my god. What has the world come to?
Anyhoo, for anyone reading this who doesn't know, I am now the proud owner of a very pretty 1989 Plymouth Reliant. Yes, it's a K-Car. Yes, it's grey. It runs smooth, is in damned near perfect condition, and it's mine! All mine! muahahahahahahahaha!
And once again work has dicked me around for putting me someplace...must find new employment. I mean, I like this job, when the work is there. But too often of late there has been no work for me, and no work is no good. Especially when I now have a whole new set of expenses for keeping a car on the road as well as upgrading this thing's sound system to move it into the new millenium.
I've got two things on my mind today. My car, and ladycelebrian. Oddly enough she's been on my mind a lot lately, which is a new thing for me. She makes my mind think clearly about the future in ways I hadn't cosnidered before and I like it. It looks good and bright with her in it. What to do, what to do...
Okay, I think that's about enough of my musings and ramblings for now. Maybe more later if I pick her up from work and bring her a large Timmy's double/double.
