Easter Weekend
We had a nice time with the family this past weekend. Derek and I drove up to Leesburg outlets (found a few, small items) to check out the awesome outlets and then went to stay @ my sister and her boyfriend's apartment in Reston, VA. I love the city they are in - it has alot going for it. My parents came up too so that we could all celebrate Linz's 25th bday.
So my brother and his wife came over from Centreville, Dad made his famous pizza and we hung out and all talked for a while, then presented Linz with her gifts and did the whole bday cake/candles stuff. We all got a little tipsy and went to bed pretty early (D and I were ready to crash after waking up early, driving all AM and shopping all afternoon).
Saturday wasn't the beautiful day we'd hoped for, but we still all got up and met Zach & Shelley at the Falls of Falls Lake. It was really pretty out there, despite getting hailed on at some points during the hike. Was pretty cool to see the old damn that was built back in "the day".
After we got back from the Falls and ate lunch, we all passed out until around 6:30pm. Dinner was at 9:15 at a restaurant in D.C.
