Moving. Again.

A week from now, we will be residents of North Carolina. I'm less than thrilled about the move, but what can I do. At least it will be a good move for Guy. He'll be going to a school for 6 months. Oh, and he just reenlisted for 5 years a couple weeks ago. I think we may be in for the long haul.

Yep...we will be at Fort Bragg as well. Did you like it there? I've heard a lot more bad than good lately which is making me not want to go! :-p

honestly, my opinion means practically nothing because we were there 20 years ago. Back then the entire town was made up of Pawn Shops, Fast food joints, Laundry mats, and Korean Bars. I was there for 2 months and then went back to MD to wait for him to get out (we weren't married yet) The only place I could have gone to school was a Baptist University... not a good choice for a little Jewish girl. There were some decent neighborhoods... and I'm sure that those are no longer the good ones and that more have popped up elsewhere.

I bet that it's been much improved in the last 20 years. You'll have to let me know!

Well, I can say it's a lot more "country" than I'm used to right now coming from Virginia. It reminds me a bit of Anchorage, and a lot like small town Nebraska.
