I just took five minutes to pop down to the local post office to send something small to NZ family so they have something to open on Christmas day. Air mail takes 5 days, so still perfectly okay. Post office was closed. Had to go to further away post office which had a massive queue. Finally got to the front of the queue and was told air mail could take considerably longer 'because it's Christmas'. Buggering hell. Stoopid amazon with their stoopid 'first class' post that's taken over 10 days and still hasn't arrived, meaning family won't get their Christmas presents. And buggering amazon aren't responding to me, neither are citilink (delivery service) whose phone message basically says 'we're shit and too many people are calling us so we've stopped answering the phone. Sod you'. And stoopid post office whose service turns into baked shite when faced with a situation they're faced with every damn year - it's not as if this is an unexpected Christmas event suddenly happening in May!
Grrrr. Am I annoyed? You bet I am. None of these damn companies are any chuffing good at all. And amazon are still saying 'buy before the end of 16th and you'll get your parcels by Christmas'. No. You won't. Don't believe a word of it.
