(no subject)
i spent mostly all day in the radio office getting rotation together, and i am feeling really excited about the coming year. beth, tim and i are going to CMJ for fall break. a whole week of getting shitty, going to concerts, conversing with lame-ass hipsters about music that probably sucks. it is going to be killer, but i will be totally broke by the end of it.
upcoming concerts i shall be attending:
bill callahan @ the grey eagle 9/2
boris @ cat's cradle 10/24
dan deacon @ the orange peel 9/20
high on fire, mono, coliseum @ the orange peel 10/3
the everybody fields, avett brothers @ bristol rhythm and roots 9/14
the national @ cat's cradle 9/7
and of course greensboro fest will be great this year. things are starting to look up for sure. i also got a membership at the ymca down the street from my house so i have been trying to do some excercises that i can do while my back is still recovering, such as walking really fast on the treadmill and doing the stationary bike. keeping good posture is a lot harder than you think. that's one lesson i've taken from this injury.
