Dear Warriors for Innocence;
Fuck off. Really.
Internet crusades don't work, morons. All you do is drive the criminals underground, annoy the legitimate folk who are just trying to write stories, or genuinely discuss all those touchy subjects like rape and incest and pedophilia, and, y'know, REMOVE SUPPORT COMMUNITIES for those have actually suffered from said touchy subjects and want to find someone who understands what they've been through.
Do you even care that you're making things worse for the victims? I don't think you do. You make a lot of noise, but it's nothing to do with the victims. It's entirely to do with you. Sure, some of you may well genuinely find pedophilia awful, but I bet it's more to do with how squicky it makes -you- feel than any kind of sympathy for the people who've been through it. Some of you, I think, are just in denial about your own urges towards criminal acts. Some of you are just glory hounds.
Some of you might well genuinely be trying to crusade; to you I offer the suggestion that maybe it would have been a HELL of a lot smarter to look through individual journals and quietly report those that are genuinely creepy.
But either way, this witch hunt is not about the victims. It's about you.
And you can fuck off and stop trying to censor things you don't like, just because you don't want to hear about them.
