followup on new suspensions

Jun 02, 2007 23:10

I emailed msanya about the suspension of pleasureinpain and she says she's opened a ticket about it. So it's *not* a "self-deletion".

ETA: Doesn't this violate the "we'll talk to people *before* suspending them" bit that Brad said would be the policy now?

You have got to be kidding me.

They can't possibly be that stupid? That brazen? So soon?!

They've never proven themselves to be overflowing with intelligence. I'm not surprised they continue to confirm their deficit of gray matter.

Well, one cute trick. Not only did they suspend it, they deleted me (and I would assume others) from the friends list. So if it hadn't been for my LJ client notifying me of the change to my flist, I might never have noticed.

They didn't delete you - your user info still shows pleasureinpain as your friend. You are no longer a member, which is normal for suspended or deleted accounts, and this is presumably what your LJ client told you about (and without that happening, surely it's less likely you'd notice...)

Well, I (naturally enough) looked under "member of" where it didn't show. Looking closer, it is buried in friends.

Which confirms that it did get nuked *after* the initial mess, because I looked for struck-out names there when all this started.
