DNAngel Stage 3 Volume 23 scanlation + rant

shall start w/ Krad: i'm v disappointed w/ his appearance. he only appears in lke 10 panels. n most of the time his hair covers his face. was expecting 2 do sth more than just telling Risa to stay where she is. like taunting Risa or fighting w/ Dark. where did the psycho Krad we knew so well go?
further on Krad: after he transforms back to Satoshi, he says tt transforming into Krad isn't as painful as before. in fact he even feels a sense of warmth in his heart. n the only catalyst i see for tis change is Risa. dun tell me tt Krad has feelings for her as well. but tis is the only reason or why wud he treat her so 'well'? ( unless he suddenly decides 2 b gd? yeah right.)
With makes a reappearance. i missed him. when scanlating 'kyuu' , it made me go all tingly inside. n after tt it's a Daisuke n Dark argument again. yay cos i'm a die-hard D x D fan. Daisuke was just so tactless to ask sth along the lines of: did u transform back bcos u were hurt by wad u saw? ( Krad n Risa ) obviously Dark is pissed. which causes him to make Daisuke do sth funny later on.
after tt, it's Argentine. it was just too sad for him. all he wanted is 2 give Kuolia a heart n to protect her ( kind of how Syaoran fr Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles wants to find Sakura's feathers. n in 1 of Sugisaki-sensei's illustrations, Argentine srsly looks like Syaoran )
then he even cried. for such an an emotionless person to cry, it srsly broke my heart 2 see tt. i could have cried when scanlating tt part, but i didn't bcos it was chinese lesson while i was using my tablet pc to scanlate.
after the chat w/ Daisuke, he became stone n i was biting my lip in order not to cry. y does tis have to happen?
digressing here, but the talk abt hearts here is reminding me of Kingdom Hearts. actually it's suitable. both series hav a spiky-haired protagonist ( Disuke n Sora ). then Roxas as Sora's Nobody is lyk Dark being Daisuke's other DNA. Riku ( KH ) is as emo as Satoshi. Kairi looks rlly like Riku ( DNA ) n Namine looks like Risa even tho i noe Namine is Kairi's Nobody. the pairings r similar. look at SoraRoxas ( DarkDaisuke ), SoraRiku ( DaisukeSatoshi ), SoraKairi ( DaisukeRiku ), NamineRoxas ( RisaDark ) shall stop digressing now.
but the pages later on made me forget about my grief for Argentine for a while. it's Dark x Risa ( as it seems to be )
no, it's not. it's Daisuke w/ a wig ( as the word 'disguised' prominently displays ) cos as Dark says, Daisuke owes him a favour. w/ Daisuke's pretending to be Dark, a lot of mushy stuff from Risa n another Daisuke + Dark argument, it's just so funny. in fact i tink tis is the best part of the chapter.
Dark leaves Risa suddenly. if i was Risa, i'd b tlly suspish. but since it's Risa, she's not. anyway Saehara pops out of nowhere, showing Daisuke a pic he had taken of Krad carryin Risa in mid-air ( not shown rlly clearly ). he then concludes tt Dark is not the culprit n tis white-winged guy ( Krad, duh. ) is the kidnapper. Saehara is being himself as usual...
Risa approaches Saehara n Daisuke, n says tt Dark is not the culprit. Satoshi pops out of nowhere n tis panel is the closest Satoshi x Risa thing u ever see in tis chapter. he ttly defends Krad, sayin tt the white-winged guy is not the culprit either.
Satoshi leaves w/ Kei Hiwatari ( stepfather ) n Argie's tower collapses. i tink it's the anime, but somehow i tink tt Kei looks creepy n evil.
Riku appears, hugging Risa. then we get some Daisuke x Riku after a rlly long time. she tells Daisuke to return Dark's note to him n i so get the feelin tt she ttly noes tt Daisuke is Dark. n past events tell me tis as well.
later in the Niwa household, the main point is Towa-chan has felt sth abt ' a weak light ' n ' two of them ' which is the main mystery now.
the last page shows Satoshi n Argentine, w/ Satoshi saying : ' the blood that cannot be rejected...' he looks scary tis way. altho i was happy to see the glasses.
speculations on next chapter:
i'm assuming the 2 of them is Argentine n Kuolia. cos it's kind of pointless of Towa to say tt if it's Dark n Krad.
for Daisuke, he'll most likely go on as usual, unless w/ Riku or Satoshi involves him.
for Satoshi, i tink he's doing some Hikari-related stuff. mayb more secrets of the Hikari artwork might b revealed.
then finally on Riku n Risa, they'll talk. abt their dates at the funfair, Risa's kidnapping n Dark saving Risa ( Risa will insist she talks abt tis ). mayb a bit on Risa's mysterious white-winged rescuer as well.
it sounds like Stage 4 is comin soon bcos the Argentine arc is kinda over.
