1. What is your favorite Christmas carol/song? Carol of the Bells. Although Joy to the World is also very popular...oh and Good King Wencenslas. 2. White lights or multicolored? Both? Like insanitypb I think it depends where you're putting them. 3. Do you have a cut tree, live tree or an artificial tree? Artificial all the way. Current one is about 5 or 6 years old, one before that reached its teenage years, and the one before that died my first christmas.  4. Eggnog, mulled cider, or hot chocolate? What! No mulled wine? of those 3 I have to go with hot choc 5. Do you decorate your house with lights? Not really. Other than the ones on the tree. 6. Do you write a Christmas letter? Usually like to send out cards to select and special people I want to stay in contact with. 7. Do you like receiving Christmas letters/photos? Cards yeah, but I don't really need a letter from x family telling me all about themselves. 8. What is your favorite Christmas story/movie? Traditionalist - The Night Before Christmas 9. Have you ever made a gingerbread house? Nope, although I do like gingerbread 10. Poinsettias or holly? Neither. Although I only really know what poinsettias look like. 11. Do you display a nativity scene? Yeah, it's kinda mum's fave table ornament. 12. Do you bake Christmas cookies? Nopes I prefer making truffles....mmm chocolatey goodness 13. Ham or turkey? Turkey and Ham for Christmas lunch. Although the ham is usually started 3-4 days before Christmas 14. In what languages can you wish someone a Merry Christmas (without cheating)? Merry Christmas, Salamat Natal, Joyeux Noël, Fröhe Weihnachten, Felize Navidad (err spelling?), so 5? 15. Do you know all the words to "Jingle Bells"? I hope so or else I"m a bit of a failure of a chorister....and was really, really unattentive. 16. Do you put presents under the tree? Yup, I even put some faux presents under there to make it look all full and pretty. 17. How do you eat a candy cane? Don't normally buy them, but always the long end followed by the hook bit. 18. What is your biggest holidays pet peeve? Combination of the rediculous commercialism (I buy presents, but not usually conventional things), the horrible attitude hunting for presents brings out in retail, the massive amounts of debt people get themselves in over it. And worst of all, in my opinion, the various charities who use our consumerism to make us feel guilty about not giving (I'm looking at you World Vision) 19. What is your favorite Christmas tradition? Christmas day with mum. Ever since dad left and the resulting brewhaha, we've done things our own way; get up and have juice and nuts while unrapping the presents, awesome 'traditional' christmas lunch cooked by mum, the the evening spent enjoying all the pressies and just generally ignoring the world. 20. What was the best present you ever got for Christmas? errr that's a tough one, but I'm gonna have to say my sewing machine back in 2007. That's just purely based on how much I've used it since then.
