What an awesome job! I love the way you've portrayed Sam, with his insecurities and dreams. You've also nailed Dean as the protective big brother, his voice comes across perfectly in this. I'm hoping (begging is such a messy word)to see a continuation of this maybe, more of Sam's reactions to Dad's words, or at least more SN fic from you soon. Thanks for sharing!

Aw, thanks! I actually was planning on writing a sequel, in which Sam asks Dean what his response would have been, but I'm not sure if I can do it justice right now. I'll definitely be writing more fic in this fandom, though. That Dean is addictive!

Hope this isn't too presumptuous, but, awww, poor Kat! A BroNo TWoPper? You must be the loneliest person in the world.

I'm not especially fond of reading Wincest unless it's got emotional resonance (as in isolde's marvelous "Unholy"). And I definitely wasn't up to writing any. The furthest I went with slash here was using the MST3K ep as a reference, since the bots make much of the flamboyant mannerisms of the prince in the movie ("why are you wearing a tiara, my son?").

Really? I was afraid the ending was too lickety-split, but I had to stop writing the Dad/Dean scene because it was making me weepy.

That was simply beautiful. I loved this, it was such a nice perspective from Sam, you really brought his emotions out.
