Your fairytales can be so unbelievably joyful ~ I think that's what I love best about them, they are just really magical but always grounded in textured details and dry humor and lots of love. I appreciate the way you mix in-jokes and fantastic banter in with genuinely serious fantasy storytelling ~ every story has little moments in which the world becomes poignantly real, no matter how delightfully silly things get elsewhere (cases in point here: Zak and Lee on the roof; Lee and Kara parting to rescue Bill and the genie, respectively; the way Baltar brought Gaeta a gentle death). There's so much heart in each new story, and my favorite part is getting to see how you've built this particular fairytale world, and where everyone emerges in it, and watching Kara and Lee meet and fall in love with such elegant ease. It's awesome

Thank you very much, I really enjoy your comments and am so glad you enjoyed the story. It's important to me that there's enough weight to the relationships so that I can anchor the odder (more fun) aspects to something that feels possible, if not plausible. This one flew its crack flag high, which I blame on Gaius who was really determined to have a good time.

I really liked the partnership of Kara and Six in this story

There is a criminal neglect of true friendship in BSG, outside of Kara/Lee and Adama/Tigh - and pretty much no solid, supportive women friendships at all. Plus I missed the old, kick ass, Season 1 Six.

You make him and Lee feel like such brothers

I'm really happy to hear that since I shamelessly project my own siblings and my relationship with them onto these two.

It's really gratifying that you just go with the flow, since these stories are such indulgences for me and I love writing the characters out of their claustrophobic little boxes in space.
