mostly flowers and whatever you find in grass, nothing extraordinary.
These are encounters made in what we call 'the lows' (literally) they're spots of wild low vegetation at sea level which are still quite uncontaminated, almost a miracle per se
sadly it was very cloudy and near dusk, and the light is what it is.
this camera takes high quality jpg at 3500x2400 pixel so the resized images are a bit large or it have been pointless uploading them D: the fine quality is 3900x2700, I didn't check the raw size. maybe 6000xwhatever. Definitely made for printing as a first priority, and I kind of see why.
Anyway:
digital closeup done by the camera:
one of our local wild orchids:
there are more species, but they already bloomed, sad ;_;
and a species variation:
we call this the queen of the grasslands:
and this is really a spider predating a bee, but the bastard was quick in disappearing!
I couldn't get any other shots, however here's a closeup
another unlucky moment where the butterfly closed its wings right when shooting
D: he just wouldn't open them again and I grew tired of waiting >_>
pointless closeup
no really, the butterfly was just 3 or 4 cm long, and I took this with a standard 14-42 far enough the butterfly didn't even notice my presence. now I'm growing doubts if with this system to do macro is better a dedicated macro lens or zooming in with a 50-200...
tree weirdness
my bf love this one (I don't particularly but eh)
closeup
of this plant I know our local name but not the english one.
as a side note today I must have caught something, I've got fever and I don't really feel well, I'm going straight to bed.
