Hoy era un día importante para mi. Yo fui al pavilion de deportivo y juegué voleibol con el equipo de la universidad. Yo fui sola. Pues, Cristina fue conmigo al principio, pero cuando aprendó que se necesita saber como jugar ella salió. Y yo juegué para, más o menos, dos horas, que es un tiempo muy larga para mi. Yo no estoy en buena forma ahora, y las jugadores son muy buenas, y golpearon la pelota con mucho mucho fuerte! Me duele mucho, en mis tobillos (porque siempre me duelen cuando yo ejerzo), en mis brazos, y en mis pulgares (porque, también, siempre me duelen cuando yo “set” colgador?). Aunque, tranquilo. Las jugadores fueran muy simpaticas y amables, y los entrenadores también. Además, yo pienso que llamé “tenedor” a los entrenadores, porque yo pensé que la palabra es “trenedor,” y mi pronunción es muy malo pues probablemente sueña como “tenedor.” No me pasa, yo voy en la semana siguiente.
Today was an important day for me. I went to the sports gymnasium and played volleyball with the university team. I went by myself. Well, Cristina came with me at first but she is not athletic at all, nor does she know how to play, so when she found out she had to be somewhat competent already, she left. I played for about two hours, which is a long time for me, especially because I haven't exercised in a really long time. I'm not in very good shape right now, and I'm out of practice, and the players are very good and they all hit the ball really hard. I hurt very much everywhere, in my ankles (because they always hurt when I exercise), on my arms, in my thumbs (because they also always hurt when I try to set the ball). Damn my great passion in high school for sacrificing easy-joint-movement for sports because now they always hurt when I try to push myself. However, I am fine and happy with myself. The players were very nice and friendly and same with the coaches. Also, I think I may have called one of the coaches a fork. Because I thought the word for coach was "trenedor" (like, trainer), but it is actually "entrenador." And, my pronunciation is really bad so I am sure that my "trenedor" sounded like "tenedor," which means "fork." But I don't care, I am going again next week.
