1. books:
   I like to read and find the meaning on my own in what I'm reading, not going to class and being lectured on the meaning of a book so I don't have to read it. When I realized this yesterday, I realized that maybe an English major just isn't for me.
2. donaires:
   The best fast food this side of Lebanon; not to be missed, and not to be confused with gyros.
3. frankenstein:
   Ah yes. The classic Romantic tale warning of the dangers of technology, and many years before we even conceived of cloning or nuclear weaponry, why we should not conceive of ourselves as gods over nature, but rather inhabitants in it. We are all just the lost doctor wandering the sub-artic wastes. This novel taken with 'The Island of Dr. Moreau' and 'Walden' give you the perfect reading material to start the 20th century with.
4. indie:
   As in movies and music which can present an original message in an original way without being constrained by big production values and studio pressure. Less alienation, more rocking the nation!
5. mafia:
   I think I need to update my info, as I have no idea why I even once would have listed the mafia as an interest.
6. paint ball:
   A fun game which I haven't played in a long time.
7. reading:
   I think this interest coincides with 'books'. Lets just leave it at the fact that I enjoy this interest mixed with my number 1 interest. There is something very comforting and almost meditative about reading.
8. strategy:
   I'm less interested in winning now, than in merely playing the game.
9. the secret of nym:
   An oldie, but a goodie. Let me sum up; technology--bad, maternal instincts--good.
10. zombies:
    Let me sum up once more; technology--bad, consumer culture--worse. Please people, don't be a zombie. It's a sad fact that this is the monster which has come to describe the last century. Each decade with their own fears; chemical warfare, biological warfare, sexual liberation, communism, tv, and the internet. And each decade with their own specific zombies tailored to their fears.
