College life is pretty cool. I was dismayed and horrified to find out that classes start tomorrow. They call it 'Welcome Week' but in actuality it's really only a couple of days. I'm excited to start classes though, because it's been fun meeting people. It's wierd to think about how some of the these people I meet I'll never see again. After all people become just a face in a mixed up, muddled up, shook up crowd of 40,000 people. I'm finding my home away from home to be 515, Sproul (how that's exactly pronounced, no one is quite sure) in the East Halls. Our 5th floor crew runs shit in the East. It's become a habit of mine to draw rather large penises on other people bulliten boards. Not the girls, though. On those I just tell them to come down to the 5th floor for cock/beer.
I went to my first college party last night with a couple guys on my floor: Eric, Paul, Dmac (Dennis McNamara), and Jordan. We rushed a frat and the guys there welcomed us in with open arms. It was a good time, and there were more freshmen there then I imagined, but that might just be because they shunned us to the the upstairs and we were all clustered together. Later on a kid we call Napolean (also from the 5th floor of Sproul) who came with my roommate James, who everyone affectionatley refers to as McLovin, and a few girls that we've been hanging out with.
I would say a quarter of the girls I've come into contact with have a boyfriend. I don't think I've met a guy with a girlfriend yet. It's amazing that some girls are trying out long distance relationships when you're in a campus of 40,000 people that love to mingle. It baffles me, to say the least. Another cool guy I met is Mike, Eric's roommate, who actually just broke up with his girlfriend just days before coming here. Mike, and the other's he was with, didn't beleive that I was actually going to a party so along the way of picking up Eric, Paul, Dmac, and Jordan I lost him, Matt, Jack Power (what a sweet fucking name?) and Byron. After Napoleon, me, and McLovin dropped the girls off we came back here and met up with them. Everyone here is really nice and helpful. Everyone is in the same boat, and it's a perfect oppurtunity to establish myself, which I've already done, and plan to continue.
Today there's all kinds of meetings that I probably won't even end up going to, but I'm not sure. I'm really nervous about finding my classes tomorrow, and what's worse is that I have to walk approximatley a half mile in about 10 minutes, otherwise I'm going to be late for my second class every Monday and Wednesday. I'm sure once I get my bearings around hear I'll be able to move around much quicker.
It's cool how high school stereotypes are left back in high school once you get into college. The one that remains however, is horny drunk girls. These girls are different people when the lights go down on a weekend. I mean, this is Penn State University. Everyone here is pretty inteligent. It's insane how drunk and just plain dumb get by night. I'm all for a good time, but if you get so shitfaced you're hooking up with a bag of dogshit, then I see a slight problem there. I'm into the more classy girls. The girl NOT drunk or drinking at a party is far more likely to grab my attention then a girl acting stupid. I must say that every girl here is pretty. But I'm starting to see everyone as a human being before seeing to the next level of that. I haven't seen one 'WOW' girl yet. Every girl is just a girl, and I'm channeling my attraction more through conversation then looks. Looks help though, and honestly, every girl here is decent looking. And I don't know what it is, but every girl has a decent rack. It's like heaven.
And then classes start.
