so i've been accepted to my first UC. yay. except it's uc riverside. uhh. yeah, not going there LOLZ. over the past few months, i've been accepted to humboldt state, csu san marcos, cal poly pomona, san francisco state and san diego state. pretty pathetic--i know so many people who just wanna be accepted to sdsu and i...just don't care. SO, guess which school i'm going to..................
mira costa LOLZ!!!
actually i'm not sure yet. for the past few months i've been dead-set on going to mira costa and transferring just because it's a logically excellent decision...awesome campus, less $$, generally easier, gradual change, etc. but part of me wants to leave this incredibly boring and static area and go start my life fo real.
might as well post grades??
math anal: B+ :'( would have gotten an A- if it weren't for that final!!!!!!
ap physics: C completely satisfied with that.
english: A, OMG IN JONES'!
ap art history: C satisfied.
german 3: A lol didn't deserve it.
econ: B+ benchmark screwed me out of an A :'(
gpa: 3.60
no care about low GPA. all i need are C's to be able to go to any college. i'm so jealous of all those seniors who have 2 free periods and classes like intro to basket-weaving. :( this is most definitely not my favorite year. might even be my least favorite.
and something for extroverts to chew on (they'll never quite understand):
"Your eyes are never open entirely, since it takes effort if you're not in a comfortable situation. When you look down at the floor, it's not just your eyes; your whole head sinks. If you can lean against something or find a wall to stand near, then you only have to watch out for three directions. You never quite know what to do with your hands, and so you develop mannerisms like fidgeting or twiddling your thumbs so that you can fit in. You hesitate before you speak, as though readying yourself for the inevitable failure your words will bring.
There's so much that you want to say, and every so often the perfect oppourtunity comes to add something useful or clever to the discussion. Politely, you wait your turn, but someone else cuts in immediately after. By the time there's a silence long enough for you, the timing is gone and it seems forced, staged, and desperate. You know it, and they know it."
the life of the shy. thus is life. stolen from a poster on SA.<3 longest post ever, ne?
