Like so many others, I am posting pictures of snow.

Taken on my way to work, here are
six pictures.

My footprint, just outside the front door. The snow wasn't very deep here.

The railway line, viewed from a bridge. This is possibly my favourite of the pictures I took.

And that concludes my journey to work. It wasn't particularly eventful; cars were crawling along the road and I was moving with an odd upright walk (and still managed to almost slip over several times). I narrowly missed being hit my a snowball just before I got to the door of the kitchens, as (predictably) the students were having a snowball fight.
The rats really didn't appreciate me using them as living hand-warmers when I got in last night. And speaking of rats, I just want to make it clear how grateful I am that the rat owners on my friends list are as passionate about rats and their care as I am. I often use LJ to rant about things and it really does help to find people leaving sane comments of support (although of course disagreement and debate is also always welcome).
