Nearly There
Such a wonderfully sunny day today, I really can't express how little I wanted to spend it shut inside my room working on my dissertation. I'll admit to walking as slowly as possible on the way home from campus this afternoon. Still, a lot of progress has been made today. I finished working a couple of minutes ago, and expected to feel more relieved that I do at the moment given that all I need to write now is the conclusion, which is only about 500 words. I find it so difficult to think about my dissertation objectively. I start feeling vaguely nauseous every time I think of it.
I am really not looking forward to the intensive editing it's going to need.
Anyway, I'm going to do the sensible thing and give myself a day off tomorrow, as I'm unlikely to struggle with finishing it in time (at least that's one thing I'm not worrying about). I've planned a walk into town with housemate O, followed by a trip to the swimming pool. I hope the good weather holds.
