The innermum having just had a bionic hip fitted, is in hospital and I have been recruited in to help the rents with their weekly babysitting schedule, which starts, as most days do, with breakfast.
The problem when you're hungry and there's Oatibix that you really want, is that sometimes one spoon isn't enough. This morning, for instance, Abby picked up one spoon in her left hand because it was closest, then proceeded to use her empty right hand to shovel Oatibix into her mouth. I put a spoon in it to avoid the resultant mess.
We would have gone swimming today, but I appear to have contracted the norovirus, which kind of sort of precludes that kind of thing. Still, having slept most of the afternoon (which is more than Abby did) I think I'm on the mend. Next week, that swimming pool is ours!
