Greetings, friends. Rob Dalton here again with another look into the dangerous (and exciting) world of The InnerBrat. Since this is a direct (and exact) transcription of a letter from her, I've decided to make it a friends-only post. Please pass it on to others who should see this if they can't see it here.

Hi Rob + everyone,
Hope everything's cool in the busy and exciting worlds of New York/SDnet/LJ. I still haven't found an awful lot of time suitable for writing, so I guess this is going to be just as short. I've spent this weekend with Marina in SLC, which has been a welcome break from the tedious monotony of digging up dinosaurs day in and day out in the heat of the desert.
OK, the dinosaurs aren't that tedious (luckily). There may be some denizens that would be interested to know that we're recovering a new species of Falcarious Falcarius (sp) - a herbivorous theropod from the basal Cretaceous (Therizinosaur) and Jim (Kirkland) will be describing it in Nature in the coming months.
Keep your eyes peeled and set on Discovery Kids this autumn for an episode of Mystery Hunters in which they investigate a 'sighting' of a live dinosaur. During the scenes in which they consult an expert palaeontologist (Jim again), look into the background for a bit of innerbrat-spotting. That's a different site fo from our main one, and I got to play with a ?Utahraptor foot. Yay! I'd be much obliged if someone could record this in a way I could watch it.
Weather's been good to me. I think I brought a healthy dose of London rain with me, which of course the desert's been spicing up with pretty lightning and exciting thunder. Throw in a few dust storms and it's all very interesting.
It's probably best to assume I won't have a postal address until I get to ver's, but this is only 3 weeks away now, so you'll just have to wait. I can get to a library/internet cafe sporadically so should be able to check email. If I've missed anything that I should have replied to, then please resent it:- it's my Dad's fault, nothing to do with me, promise!
OK, told you it would be short: I'm in a hostel and don't want to stay up too late past my jet lagged room mates.
Stay slinky!
luv n hugz all round,
Debi xx
PS. Cody/Genny + anyone else waiting for a phone call - I'm thinking of you but busy. Sorry.
