Eight Days of Happiness: Day One
I decided that I could count 'you all should' from viridian as being tagged, so I am doing so.
I don't usually read fanfic, beyond my actual roleplay, but trelali asked me to look over a backstory/canon bridging she wrote for Sam Winchester in shatterverse, and I was reminded how awesomely talented my friends are and how lucky I am to be able to write with them.
I'm still getting people stopping my my post on the FedEx arrow, and link notifications and everything. Some people seem to miss the point, but people are reading, and that makes me happy.
While I'm still having a lot of trouble getting into the swing of my PhD, I did read and think about and apply a new paper today, and am feeling confident.
It's not technically today, but yesterday on the tube home I was knitting happily until the girl sitting next to me, of about 10, interrupted my ipod listening to talk about my knitting (she said I was 'gifted', bless her) and about her Easter holiday so far, including all the films she's seen, and how her favourite movie is Night at the Museum and she's looking forward to the sequel. I love kids. A lot.
