(Although now I'm picturing McCain as Billy Flynn and Palin as Roxie Hart singing "Razzle Dazzle" and it's amusing as fuck at this time of the morning.)
Mostly because it's always worth considering ignoring the ignorant hatemongers in the world, focusing instead on how brilliant their counterparts are.
I can't say I'm following this advice. Not because I think there is merit to highlighting inconsistencies and problems in one side's politics, but also because I'm a terrible terrible person. And I'm not a US citizen.

Maybe we should encourage Kate Middleton to go into politics. She could legalise foxhunting with military helicopters, it'd be awesome.
If McCain actually gets elected, it won't be funny any more, but then I'll have four years to cower in fear and xenophobia.Right now, I'm going to carry on relishing the chance to point and mock and hate over the next few weeks, milk it for all its worth.
