I have a confession to make - I've not actually read much Alan Moore. I've read vol.1 of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (not to be confused with The League of Gentlemen, which quite frankly scares me shitless.) I own V for Vendetta on DVD, and I quite liked that movie in which the robot from Alien played Satan (and Johnny Depp and absinthe). So i know I'll like Moore. I just haven't started reading him yet. A similar thing happened with Gaiman - it took The Last Temptation of Alice Cooper to break my Gaimaninity.
Not having plunged myself into Moore yet,
Lost Girls has blipped onto my radar into a 'gosh that looks good,' way. Then, finding out more about it, I thought 'wow, I bet I'd really like that.' It's OK, though. I wasn't actually intending anything.
Except Moore and Gebbie are going to be at my comic shop
the week before my birthday. Signing the book.
DILEMMA.
