Dumb Laws in New York:The penalty for jumping off a building is death.
I just really really want to work that into an RP plot somehow. It's just a shame dumblaws.com is so unreliable. I mean, it has the bale of hay for taxis law on it. Still, it'd be nice if I could somehow work this into a plot for Mel. Somehow

Either an easy or impossible law to enforce, depending on how you look at it!

But then again, what would be the point of leaping off a short building? That just demonstrates a lack of commitment.
