It seems the people who actually like me won't allow me to say no.

Happy Birthday Gillian!

Struck with the disappointing discover that one of my students was so young he thought the SNES was Nintendo's first Entertainment System, there was nothing to do except buy my comics (Buffy and Jack) and go figuring out how to dress myself as an American ten years younger.

Southgate charity shops yielded up a yellow spaghetti top and a pair of blue jeans that actually fit, and well. The funky little arm-warmer things? Well, I can't be arsed. Maybe someone nice will knit them for me. Otherwise, meh.

So then I have two choices - medical bracelet (LAME) or powers.

As my shirt and jeans don't actually leave a midriff, I don't need a body stocking, and only have to focus on my feet (white socks), arms and chest. Now, I could get a white polo neck and tie-dye it sexy colours, but that doesn't leave much scope for my face or hair does it?

As it's going to be the end of October and in GB, I have no intention of exercising my non-existent right to bare my arms (or my shoulders) so some sort of garment is needed. Which brought up the thought - maybe instead of using proper fabric dye, I could use either face paints or coloured hair spray on my body and on a white long sleeve.

Which means I turn to you, oh friendslist:
 - what's the cheapest and best way of colouring both a shirt and my face in rainbow pastels?
 - who wants to head Camdenwards on Saturday?

runaways, fancy dress, birthdays, geek meets
