Heroes speculation
Needless to say, spoilers be here, up to 1:19

I know what Mama Petrelli's power is. And also why she KNOWS ALL.
Prescient dreams.
You know, the one's Peter has that make him think he can fly, or the one at the end of Fallout after the timeline reasserts itself?
These are from his mother.
1. We know that every person only has one power unless they're Peter or Sylar, who use that one power to gain more. The Haitian appears to be anomalous, but Sylar's activities show that the power is in the brain, so maybe his memory wipes include making you forget how to use your power.
2. Peter appears to exhibit two powers in the pilot: Prescience and flight. Flight is shown to be absorbed from his brother. Conveniently, no one questions the prescience.
3. Peter absorbs powers from people close to him, but especially people he feels an emotional connection. Like his mother.
4. Whatever Mama Petrelli's power is, Peter must have had it from day one.
5. As the only power Peter has, which we don't know the origin of is prescience, that must be the power he absorbed from his mother.
That's what I think.
