Hey guys! Wow, I've been ignoring lj for a while. Sorry. Things have been a little busy.
I just got back from a trip to Barren River Lake, which was pretty nice. We also got to go see Mammoth Cave, which was ~AMAZING~
I've been to caves before, but this was something else. It just blows my mind how massive it is. And it's still not totally explored, but there are 390 known miles of cave. It's huuuuuuuuge. And we went on the historic tour, which was right up my alley. Apparently the cave was used as a tuberculosis hospital in the 19th century, a fallout shelter in the 1960s and a major source of saltpeter in the War of 1812. I love this stuff.
And how have you guys been? Anything new going on?
