(no subject)
Well, the "Weekend of Much Fanstuff" is over, and I didn't get that much done, partly due to my own laziness, partly due to the fact that I slept much of the time away, and partly due to the fact that I was out of the house for various reasons much of the time.
So, I am hereby extending it to the "Week of Much Fanstuff", due to the fact that the readers of Fascination have got me on a big (and utterly justified) guilt trip for not updating.
Here's what got done:
Had a breakthrough with Fascination, after weeks of writer's block. I'm so happy! ^_^ I now have most of Chapter 4b and Chapter 5 planned out, the highlights of which are this conversation:
“You know, Himura-san, I really don’t think we should kill each other in front of the children.”
“Do you have any suggestions, Okita-san?”
“You could surrender.”
“No. Why don’t you surrender?”
“Shinsengumi never surrender.”
“A draw, then. [loud enough for the children to hear] Even I, the great Battousai, find myself evenly matched with this Shinsengumi Captain. I must withdraw and wait for another day!”
“You know, Himura-san, night patrols would be much easier if this just happened in real life.”
“Not a chance, Okita-san.”
and an SFO (Saitou Finds Out) scene. Heh heh heh. And also...*whispers secretively* Their first kiss! YEAH!!! XD
Also cleaned up my Sauron/Morgoth sketch. It's not done yet, since I still have to work my ballpen magic on their hair and put a little shading on the skin. I also have a conundrum: I rather like how their shoulders and arms turned out, and adding clothes or armor would cover that up. Not to mention that cloth is nowhere near my strong point. But if I leave them bare-torsoed, that means I have to try drawing chests...*sigh*
