As the elementary school has now been rebuilt, we will be beginning class at 9am tomorrow morning. Students, if you haven't already, I want you to find a competent adult who can take you to and from school. Tell your guardians that school will end at 3pm. If you do not have anyone to take you, let me know and I will accompany you myself

Really. My world and others I've visited ain't exactly friendly, and say what you will, but no classroom prepares ya for steppin' foot in a parallel reality.

Perhaps the classes you have been in. I make it a point to make sure my students learn everything they need to know.

Of course not. A parallel reality with have different rules, places, and threats. You cannot teach about a world you do not know.

Unless, of course, you have been to that parallel reality.

Last class I was in was about ten years ago.

And I guess that's why I don't need book knowledge from anyone. I already know what I need.

The Cosmic Interstate would just get boring if anyone could travel it.

Then why are you so fussed about me setting up a school? I am teaching children, not adults, and if you haven't been in class for ten years then you are not a child.

Not prefer it. Expect it. I was a kid, runnin' around on my own and I turned out just fine. Same with my crew.

Some children turn out fine. Others turn out to be stupid and ignorant. And others turn out dead. You are one person. To expect everyone else to turn out fine just because you did is ludicrous. Everyone else is not you.
