Events of the past week
Cuddling kittens on Sunday morning, after an enjoyable Net show (it's been a long 6 months!); 5-course Italian dinner with my project team (on the Firm, I believe) on Tuesday; bonding over burritoes (on the Firm) with other people in my practice, but not in my group; finally watching Obama's DNC 2004 speech and smiling at an article describing Clinton's warm reception in Hanoi; being told a slide I made was "beautiful" yesterday; Turkish dinner with Viara; cupcakes with Emilie and Viara; minor oral surgery today (the oral surgeon referred to it as a 'barbeque' because he seared off the flaps of gum I had over my wisdom teeth -- yummy! There was smoke coming from my mouth - too much information?); seeing the first snowflakes of the season fall; ice skating in Bryant Park with coworkers; developing a blister the size of a nickel on my foot from said skating; watching Shrek properly for the first time, while eating Half Baked.
