Random list o' stuff
- I'm going to hear Malcolm Gladwell speak tomorrow.
- Monday will be the beginning of Week 7 on the job.
- I have yet to be staffed, but for the past week I've been working on a project I can't tell anyone in my office about (which, I fear, makes me look like a tool)
- I had two fillings done today. The teeth still sort of hurt.
- I went to a pet store today to look at the kittens and puppies. They were cute. But it was sad, obviously, to see them in small cages.
- I got hooked up to the Internet today at home. Yay!
- I finished reading The Namesake yesterday. The end made me cry.
- I just watched Robin Williams on Broadway, entirely on youtube.com
- I ordered Turkish food for dinner
- I don't have a winter coat appropriate for work - not good. I looked at coats today but am utterly incapable of spending money on something like that without a second opinion.
- My apartment must be draughty, because it's cold in here. Not good.
- I'm getting to be friends with the people who work in my building. Mostly immigrants. Ireland, Sicily, India, Montenegro...
- I went to a Jamie Cullum concert last Friday night (8 days ago). It was FANTASTIC.
- I went to a birthday dinner last Saturday night, Penn friend. Met some of her friends, might hang out with them sometime.
- The company cafeteria has delicious, cheap food. And it's provided by Aramark - how is that possible?
