britpop

I just watched two documentries on Britpop on BBC4; The Britpop years and Live Forever. They were fucking brilliant. They had some great music vids on them, some great interviews too: Jarvis Cocker and of course the amazingly wonderful Damon Albarn were notably honest and entertaining, even Noel Galagher was quite good, Liam still managed to be a complete cock though and Graham Coxon's Blur bashing is getting tiresome. He wouldn't have a career without Blur, as his solo record sales show.

Oh and Lucy, both documentries started with The Stone Roses and their influence, so obviously it's not just me that believes they started the movement and could be called the first britpop band.

Also nice to see Underworld - Born Slippy and Trainspotting featured.

I just wished i had sky+ on these occasions.
