For all the drivers out there, someone posted a topic about this on an MR2 forum, sounds quite interesting. I've signed up, see what happens and whether anyhting comes of it, as it's free i havent lost anything:

These organisations behave as if petrol and diesel were luxury goods, and driving was a pastime. We are not ‘motorists’ as the media like to call us. We are teachers, nurses, professional and business people, parents. We drive because we have to.
