Glee Rewatch 2014: Girls (and Boys) on Film
Things that happened:
1. The filming of this number is really cool - a camera held in place while the room spins on pistons in front of it. Super cool.
2. (Also - I'm glad they gave her flats, because if she had been doing that in high heels then I would have had a heart attack.)
3. "We should do The Artist so we don't have to sing!"
4. "Ain't nobody got time for that."
5. Musical number 500! Yay!
6. Kurt's laugh when they quote Downton Abbey. <3 My lovely boy and his lovely smile.
7. "Oh, reaally Rachel? Not even She's Having a Baaaby, cause you always cry at the end when Elizabeth McGovern has the baaaaby." He's so cute help.
8. "Moulin Rouge, bitches! We love those dancing hos!"
9. OH NO I'M NOT READY I DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS SO SOON IN THE EPISODE.
10. Wow, Kurt, your fantasies are elaborate as fuck.
11. Freaking flashbacks fuck you.
12. I love that they used the movie version of this song instead of the pop single-esque one. Even if I wish Kurt got equal singing time.
13. And he is just beyond stunning in some of these shots. Beautifully done.
14. The way he curls into Blaine's shoulder at the end... his expression is absolutely gutting.
15. "That character is a freakin' psycho." "Go on." Kurt is so on board with the Brody hate.
16. I have missed you, Santana dearest.
17. "Oh, okay, I like how you guys pretend to be all accepting about everything but when your friend suddenly shows up in your home, moves in and goes through all your stuff, you're offended?"
18. I remember when this aired people were actually like, 'this scene is offensive to gingers'. Meanwhile, me and my bright orange hair are laughing our ass off.
19. Imitating snorting cocaine. "I'm with you. Drug dealer..." Be still my Kurtana loving heart.
20. I really don't like the Diamonds song - I don't think it suits Unique or Marley's voices at all. They sound too harsh when it should be done very sweetly, delicately. Or maybe I just like Marilyn and Nicole's versions too much.
21. "...and all the snow men look like they have scoliosis."
22. "I desperately want to be over him." Oh, honey.
23. Poor Adam. He never could compete when Kurt was never fully invested in the first place. Not either of their faults, but Adam was a lot more into the whole thing than Kurt.
24. Jesus Christ, does Emma's sister live in a fucking castle?
25. I'm still eyerolling at the Rachel pregnancy storyline, for the record.
26. I mean, I like that we get to see Santana being compassionate, but literally what is the point of this storyline?
27. Who cares about Jarley or Myder - I'm shipping Rake. (Jyder?)
28. This suddenly becomes very awkward when you remember that at this point Blake Jenner and Melissa Benoist were dating and soon to be engaged.
29. "Why do you always do that?!"
30. Scary Schuester makes a return.
31. Somewhere in Chicago Mike Chang just randomly burst into tears and didn't know why.

- Will is missing Emma pretty bad, but he doesn't know where she is. After pining a bit, Artie and Finn go and seek out her parents and manage to wheedle the answer out of them. The club goes to see her, Will sings a song, and Emma and Will decide to revive their relationship a bit before planning to get married again.
- Will has done a boys versus girls theme again, this time doing mash ups of movie themes. It's pretty cool.
- Marley is freaking out about Ryder kissing her. She tells Jake, and he's not very happy.
- Finn tells Will about kissing Emma. He's also not very happy about it.
- Rachel is freaking out about the pregnancy thing and Santana, who goes through people's rooms when she moves in, has found a positive pregnancy stick. Uh-oh.
- Meanwhile, Santana has decided that there's something fishy about Brody. After finding a wad of cash and a pager, she decides that Brody is definitely a drug dealer. Kurt is on board, but Rachel is mostly annoyed.
- And finally, NYADA classes are cancelled because of snow, and Kurt and Adam are spending the time watching movies with their friends. But Santana isn't very impressed with Adam, and when Kurt cries over Moulin Rouge because Come What May was his and Blaine's song, she not exactly subtle about it. Adam talks to Kurt about it, and it comes out that Kurt really isn't over Blaine. So he decides that the two of the will have their own song together. Good luck, buddy.
