I go to UCLA
Up until today, I thought it was impossible to make friends in so huge and impersonal a school. Having sat next to fawning couples and a pair of guys whose vocabulary consisted solely of the words "duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude", I wasn't sure I wanted to get to know anyone. But today I ran into two people from LACC and I made a phone buddy in Jeanie.
So far the classes seem easy. I'm only intimidated by the class sizes which make it difficult for me to raise my hand to participate. Yuck.
