Another day in paradise
Tuesday- after a late but rapid evening of pool snowballs, burgers and psychology chat, I woke (eventually) to a morning shift.
I am temporarily covering a job at the sorting office that seems to have rather elevated my status a touch. I get to whip out a rusty skillset as.... Drumroll.... Admin cover and (mainly) assistant environmental pillar. This makes more sense if you have any knowledge of the business model adopted by Fiat 8 years ago, very successfully but the main part is Ecololgy, proving I'm competant and motivated and actually enjoying it.
Every little thing has made me smile lately.
ION my 'special super secret agent friend' has helped with my dabbling in camera hogging type stuff and set me up with transport and a contact for a shoot. I am tickled pink :)
also I may have some life modelling lined up yaay.
Making an effort to try and push the comfort zone boundaries out a bit.
Argh, currently my talented with guitar yet sadly tonedeaf singing housemate is practising tenacious D. I want to smile with amusement and approval but his vocal pitch and tone makes me wince. Its workable though, I hope he improves. Soon.
After work today I ran to the Tesco express (and was surprised to witness the Sainsbury's directly opposite finished and open) to grab chocs and flowers [and illicit fags, my favourite brand] and proceeded, gifts in hand, to my mum's for her birthday hug.
Funnily enough it's my stepdad's birthday tomorrow so they/we're going for a meal.
Well, comics and then bed for me. Night all, enjoy life sooner or later. Xxx
