Third Place Baby!!
Well SCL championships are finally over. Whew, I am tiiirrredd. That was probably the hardest I have swam than..I think all season. Thats kinda sad but eh, what can ya do? We all did really well. I finaled in both my events on Friday so had to go back to swim them today. I got 3rd overall in my 200 IM and 8th overall in my 100 breast. I took off 5 seconds in my IM and 2 in my breast which is pretty cool. I don't think I'm going to swim the breast next year. I want to swim the fly instead. I swam it for the first time last Tuesday in out meet against Petaluma and won the event. My time was like a 1:10 something which is pretty good. Its a hard event but its fun. Our relays did really well too. The Medley..I dunno, cuz I don't swim that but our 200 Free Relay got 2nd overall and so did our 400 Free Relay which is a lot better then I was expecting. For those of you who don't swim and know nothing about swimming, this is all meaningless to you so you can go ahead and forget it all now.
Whew, I'm so worn out today. I'm really sad swimming is over tho, I'm gonna miss everyone. Its not the same when your not doing sports with people because during season you see them everyday at practice and you get really close but when the season is over, you don't see them as much unless you have classes with them but even then, its not the same. Sad but oh well. A lot of the swimmers are joining the Neptunes during the off season so we can be super pro next year. Oh and I decided I'm not playing basketball next year. I just don't like the program. I love all the people and all my team mates but we are all going to be split up this year so it won't be the same. Plus this will give me more time to focus on school and swimming. I'm still going to play tennis tho which is fun.
I'm also taking a life guarding class pretty soon so I can lifeguard this summer at the pool. I needa make some money. I'm also gonna work for my dad maybe. Who knows..I can't wait for summer tho. School is shitty and I'm over it. Only like a month left!!!
I'm out tho. Needa get some rest. I'm taking my mom to the city 2morrow for Mother's Day with my bro and sis. Should be a lotta fun, I wanted to go to the beach but we decided to go shopping instead because I guess its not supposed to be nice 2morrow? Who knows. Oh also Jenna and my dad left for D.C. this morning for a week. I'm so jealous, they are gonna have so much fun! Well nighty night.
