And even if there were, she thinks her bones are numb enough from loss now that she wouldn't be able to feel it, anyway.

So much loss.

So much loss, indeed. Of youth. Of first love. Of time and possibility.

Oh, wow. This was gorgeous. I'm fascinated by the scenario of Angel losing his soul again, because I don't know that I've ever seen it done, but this is also a lovely Spuffy reunion piece with all the wordless communication and awareness of one another's presences, moving or still, that characterized them in their last season together.

And such lovely language! Even when the phrases are simple, you draw out the thoughts beautifully, and everyone sounds exactly like themselves (especially Willow - hot ladies doing magic, indeed!).

This could honestly be the best review I ever gotten. Thank you so much for not only taking the time to leave it, but articulating so well what you enjoyed about the fic! I'm so glad you liked it ♥

Everyone always toys with the idea of Buffy having to kill Angelus, but so few actually go through with it - this is the first that I've read actually - and you pulled it off with just the right amount of drama.

Very well done, in terms of language, tone, everything.

That was beautiful. It was sad but there was that bit of hope that somehting good could come out of the loss.
