As for doing essays with the internet -- quite right to browse and find, of course, but remember my frequent warning! What you find on the Web is what anyone (and I mean anyone) has been able to put there; and unless it's something you already know about, you can't judge whether it's good or B.S. The things you find in scholarly books and articles in the Library have all gone through the filters of several peer reviews and editorial readings, and although this doesn't filter out all the bad stuff, it does make theings much more trustworthy. The best combination is to have a reading room (or a carrel) in a library which also has WiFi, so you can have the best of both worlds at once. Of course, it does mean that you have to spend time in the library, which you cannot do in yourpyjamas with a beer...

The noun is "intrigue". The verb is "to intrigue". The adjective, therefore, is intriguing, not intriging.
