Q: Ok wait. What?

A: You silly, didn’t you read the story? The short version is that there is a war going on between the anti-forms and their counterparts. A rip in time pulls characters from different canons to the planet to fight the war as well, but they are free to choose their side.

Q: Wtf does Mephiles have to do with anything?

A: The natives residing on Earth are all post-06 by default, after Elise blew out Solaris’ flame. Instead of erasing all the events from history, it simply erased the memories of everyone on the planet. Because Solaris is immortal, it was split again, and Mephiles has been stranded without Iblis because that half was destroyed when the flame was blown out.

More information on his purpose is given in other questions.

Q: This is a war. THAT MEANS DEATH RIGHT?!?!?!?

A: Yes yes, death will occur. However, keep in mind that it does not come without its consequences. Should a character die, they cannot come back unless someone goes to Mephiles and asks for their return. In turn, they will need to pay a price (to the player’s discretion), and the character will come back, occasionally missing key memories as far as their death is concerned.

Should nobody want the character back (but the mun still wants to play them), Mephiles will bring them back anyway, but that character will be stuck in his debt for the rest of their life.

AS STATED IN THE RULES a character can only die and be brought back once every four months. This is to prevent deaths from occurring regularly.

Q: Ok, then what about drops? How are those handled?

A: The character is sent on a mission and does not return until the next player picks them up. When the character is returned, they are usually missing all their memories, and nobody's really sure why this happens. YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO KILL A CHARACTER YOU PLAN ON DROPPING!!! This will earn you a perma-ban, no questions asked.

Q: Natives? Antis? Pulled? I’M CONFUSED!!!

A: Okokok, calm down sheesh. Natives are characters that have been living for some of the war. They will have more knowledge of how things work as opposed to ‘pulled characters’ ('Outsiders'), who have been pulled to Earth without their consent by an unknown force. Antis are self explanatory: the opposite of the canon character in personality. Please note that anti applications are read with a magnifying glass...as in it is much harder to app an anti than another character, due to the dangers of being OOC.

Q: What about natives or antis that haven’t been apped?

A: They are assumed to be MIA or involved in the war effort. When a native or anti is brought to the RP, they will enter as if returning from an assignment of some sort. Other natives may react as if they’ve been missing for a very long time a month after the game’s launch.

Q: What are the communities for?

A: The main community, inmediasres_rpg, is for things such as weather changes, supply shortages, and natural disasters that may occur over the course of the game. Characters do not post here.

The ooc community, inmediasres_ooc is for out of character things, such as introductions, OOC announcements, etc.

The logs community, inmediasres_log is for third person threads/logs.

Any other interaction will occur in the character’s journals.

Q: I CAN HAS CHAOS EMERALDS?

A: No. No, you can’t has. Unless you find them, of course! There are seven in total, no more, no less (your pulled characters will not have them), including one Master Emerald, though it has been broken because of the fighting. If your character wants to try and put it back together, by all means!

FAKE EMERALDS are ok, but they will only have enough power to be power sources for machines, nothing more.

Q: Can I start HUEG BATTLE?

A: No, that will be the mods’ job. You will know when one is occurring by the tags in the logs community.
