Last night I was talking to one of my friends about how incredibly depressing our generation is, how everyone has this undying urge to destract themselves from anything of true happiness by going out every weekend and partying. Nothing is real anymore, those pathetic nights in someone's appartment, passing around weed and vodka...it is purely all peace of mind, being content, there is no substance in anything we do anymore. We lack everything that involves any form of true contact. We're all fake, we're all lonely, and the only thing that manifests something worth appreciating are those seconds while someone truthfully touches us and we feel lost in a world of sensation. I don't know.
This weekend my parents went out of town and the best moments were the ones I shared with Page alone at home, cleaning, cuddling, and admiring her.
I just think the world would be a much safer place if we all had someone to love.
