Dan as a journalism prof - what an intriguing idea. He'd certainly be interesting in the classroom, wouldn't he? You said this isn't shippy, but there's a hint that their friendship could be something more. Very nice.

This was cute and funny, with a wee bit of an edge to it (which I think a sports night fic should have! :) ); I haven't seen a lot of the show, but I enjoyed this. I especially liked the subject lines.
