I'm sorry, I can't comment constructively at the moment; I've still got my tears in my eyes and I can't decide whether it's because this is beautiful or tragic. Or both. Well, it's both but I don't know which one's making me cry the most.

(Sorry if that's a bit incoherent but it's intended as a compliment!)

Oh my, you broke Horatio. Poor dear boy, on his good days it must be so very hard to know that he has the bad days. And your caretaker Archie makes me so sad. William would have a good influence on Horatio, yes.

I'm going to have to read it again tomorrow. It's kind of a punch in the gut fic, and I need to get past just repeating "Poor Horatio" in order to fully appreciate it. But yay for angst and hurt and pain. Archie gets so abused in fic; it's nice to see him as the comfort-giver for a change.

Thanks. :) I do like trying to flip their dynamic and have Horatio get broken for once. I doubt he appreciates it, though...

I feel like I should write them something fluffy and nice now as an apology.

Please excuse me while I go cry my eyes out for a while.

*grabs a tissue, blots and blows*

"Love" does not begin to describe how I feel about the way you write Horatio and Archie, any more than "spot on" describes how true to them this feels.

“Tell me you love me,” he whispered. “Like you used to when we were younger. Tell me that hasn’t changed.”

“It has, though ... I love you even more.”

You kill me - you just tear my heart out and wring it to bits. And I adore you for it.

::snuggles you:: Thanks. :) Have you seen all the movies now, or should I plan to bring my DVDs with me in December?

Bring 'em on, sweetie. We'll have a festival - y'know, kinda like BamberFest, only not. Gruffud-Fest 2005?

I feel like I owe hugs and puppies now. Possibly ice cream and lollipops as well.

Thanks for commenting. :)
