The Two Michael Sams. Michael Sam the football player, and his father. This looks at the father's history, Sam Jr's history, and gets super-judgy about how Sam Jr has distanced himself from his family. To me, reading it, his decision is perfectly reasonable; ymmv.
The Passing of the Indians Behind Glass. On museums moving away from using dioramas in their presentations of Native Americans. Mostly this caught my eye because the main museum it talks about is the one I went to all the time as a kid, in Ann Arbor... and the local teacher whose letters of protest are quoted was my third-grade teacher. Weird.
The War of the Words. Background on the Amazon/Hachette dispute, which I believe has now been settled? I thought I saw a headline to that effect earlier today.
