fall out boy in philly and dc, may 30 and 31, 2013
Philly was a good show and I was happy.
DC was a transcendent show and I don't want to mess it up by talking about it too much.
Pete Wentz's closed-eyes, blissed-out face when he sang along with the "me and Pete" line in Saturday. Pete tripping off the riser at the front of the stage and making a Groundhog Day joke about it. Pete bringing Andy a birthday cake and prancing across the stage to tease Joe and leaning on Patrick. Pete wearing his leather half-dress and Youngbloods vest and red flannel buttoned to the neck when the entire venue was steaming with DC summer heat and humidity and nobody could even breathe.
Yeah, I'm a Pete fan, I guess.
(Disloyal Order and Hum Hallelujah: would've been the best set list no matter what else they played or didn't. ♥)
