#67: Fun and Games, Duane Swierczynski. Another cheapo Books on the Knob purchase, this time because I recognized the author's name from my comics fandom friends. And oh, is it clear once you read the book. This is a conspiracy thriller, and some scenes almost still have the imprint of the comic-book storyboard on them. Sometimes the text is even set up to offset lines like they would be on a comics page. It just...reads like a novelized comic book. Not in a bad way! But the influence is very clear. Anyway, it was a fast read, mindless violence and conspiracy, good for on the plane, one unfortunate gender-related comics-rooted element. There's a sequel coming out next week and I'm going to read it.

I am in Omaha for the work-related convention. All week. Whoop whoop.
