stupid fingers, stupid string

Another random bit of proof, as if it was needed, that it takes all kinds to make fandom; I've seen this meme around and about-
These are the original five clues:
1. Your story with the closest word count to 1,662 words.
2. Your story in the rarest fandom you write in.
3. The longest story you've ever written.
4. The story that's title starts with the last letter of your user name.
5. Story written for your favorite prompt you've ever gotten.

And you're supposed to link fics of yours that fit each clue? Which, um, those aren't clues, they're categories, but whatever. Anyway! My reaction to this meme was "...some people actually keep track of wordcounts?" And then "Some people can remember which fics were written for a prompt and which weren't?" And then "Wait, the last letter of my username is 't', do titles starting with 'the' count or not?"

It honestly never would have occurred to me to track my fic by wordcount. Huh. All kinds!

Other bits of proof: the two violently-opposed camps of response to amberlynne's "Just comment" post the other day, and the latest round of "if you don't use Dreamwidth, you're a terrorist"/"if you tell people to use Dreamwidth, you're a fascist" discussion. Because there is nothing we will not forcibly turn into a binary.

It would make me a bad person to go home after my morning meetings and sleep all afternoon. Must not do that. :(
