Oh, this is excellent. I woke up this morning and immediately started reading this, while still kind of half-asleep, and I was totally sucked in by the second paragraph. You do an amazing job of getting into Matt's head, into all the things he thinks about and also tries so hard not to think about, and Smash is great, too, and the story just feels so real. I'm extremely impressed, and I love this like breathing.
