Hmmmm. Let's see. Spring of 2005 was buying Devils & Dusts on you and Quicknow's rec. I *believe* that spring was also when I came out and visited you guys, yes? And heard Thunder Road and Rosalita for the first time. Essentials kept me company in the toll booth all summer. I'm guessing sometime in June of '05, then, when I finally cut through the mumbling, figured out the lyrics, and it all clicked into place. :)

Ooh. That is interesting. They haven't met in canon, right? Not that that ever stops fanfic...I think that could be interesting and produce some fun, layered conflict. Yay! I need to go back and read through your FNL fic once my finals are done; it's on my list. :)

Hmmm. I don't think there was a specific moment; I stumbled into the show in the middle of season 4 (reallyreally confusing place to start, by the way), and then got the DVDs from the beginning as I could and caught up. It was more of a gradual process. :)
